HOW DO I FIND A PROPERTY?


• Register with us to receive the best properties as they become available
• View properties with us - a member of staff will chauffeur you if appropriate
• Apply online authorising us to carry out references and credit checks
• Pay an administration fee to cover this process and the tenancy documentation
• A guarantor may be required for foreign nationals or those with insufficient income
• The process usually takes 7 days and the tenancy usually lasts for 6 months.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I MOVE IN?


• Read and sign the ARLA tenancy agreement and supporting documentation
• Pay the first month's rent and a 1½ x month's rent deposit by banker's draft
• Subscribe to insurance to cover accidental damage to landlord's property
• Agree to pay the monthly rent by standing order 3 days prior to the due date
  
• Check the inventory and schedule of condition and return it within 7 days
• Collect the keys (by midday if the move in takes place on a Friday).
  

• Transfer the utilities and council tax to your name
• Phone us with maintenance requests as they occur
• Allow us to visit the property to inspect it during your stay.

• Give us 1 months notice that you wish to leave, which must be on a rent day
• Allow us to visit the property to inspect it before returning your deposit
• Return the keys.
